Viel wirklich interessantes kam ja bisher noch nicht, die erste positive Überraschung für dieses Jahr ist die neue Kruelty, die vor zwei Wochen via Profound Lore erschien. Stumpf ist Trumpf, es klingt halt wie das verschollene Grave Album aus deren kurzen beatdown-phase kurz nach You'll Never See... aber es macht unverschämt viel Spaß.

In die habe ich mal reingehört, die könnte mein Death Metal Highlight für 2023 werden.

Nicht schlecht (höre die ganze EP bei Bandcamp), aber für einen Tonträgerkauf wird es nicht reichen...

Nicht viel los dieses Jahr in Sachen Death Metal? Seit gut 2 Wochen ist das neue Album von Crypta mit Namen "Shades of Sorrow" draußen. Ich feier es.

Die gefällt mir jetzt doch auch ganz gut.

Ansonsten finde ich auch "Ontological Mysterium" von Horrendous interessant. Allerdings auch nicht mehr als das bislang. Passiert mir oft wenn heutzutage Death-Metal-Bands progressiv werden - theoretisch gefällt mir das alles schon gut, aber es kickt mich irgendwie dann doch nicht, zumindest nicht langfristig.

Tomb Mold is back. The 4th album ‘The Enduring Spirit’ will be released on all streaming platforms this Friday 9/15 - no waiting. That same day we will start pre-orders for all physical formats at 11 a.m. EST with an actual release date of October 13th. More information about those will be posted in the coming days.

The band has previously announced two shows this weekend in Toronto and Montreal and yes, those are release shows to commemorate the new album.
