YOU DON’T JUST WATCH THE MAGIC – MAGIC WILL COME TO YOU! In the chronicles of ridicule noone won and noone should have been surprised when the black sun rose to darken the sky. The highly anticipated result of the auto-destruct routines built into our personal enhancement algorithms burping out I AM A GOLDEN GOD messages in increasing frequencies. Pumping mercury and golden dust through our veins, we willingly ripped off the skin of our faces, grinding our fleshy frowns on the ground, cutting out our bleeding hearts to hold them up towards the enemy sky in offering (who needs a face when you can sell your soul?) And where foulness rules, the vermin are never far. Slowly, we turned into the crowd of mindless clowns chanting circus circus messages, wiggling our painted designer suit rears around neo-atavistic cults of impalement and never forgetting to stuff even more faeces down the throat of our deaf-blind new borns. In the meantime the dance floor conveyor belt kept us rocking towards the trash bin gorge of our new salvation, a relentless forward motion we could not help but call PROGRESS. When the party was finally over, the survivors were picked up off the muckhills that used to be their cities by antlike men who shot them, drained their blood and dried them in the sun – only to smoke their souls for fun. In skeleton ballets, some still tried to save the beautiful and right by burning down their capitals and waiting on empty shores for magical returns like the crossing of parallel lines. Some even jumped off cliffs hoping to be reborn as the mighty golem. But noone could win, noone would survive. So only few finally found relief when they saw the last giant wave emerge from the black ocean – and when it started to run, washing away the dirt of the earth, they rode it all the way down into eternal darkness.
