Having caught the band's absolutely stellar, totally rejuvenated two night reactivation a couple years back in Brooklyn, the announcement does not come as a total shock. Those performances did not feel like the end of the story or a heave-ho off into the sunset. The mid-nineties magic was in full effect, and, based purely on the energy and gleeful authenticity then-exuded, I don't think anyone could be blamed for walking out of those shows with the impression that Snapcase was a band with unfinished business. Here's hoping the itinerary expands. And that they aren't tired of playing "Harrison Bergeron" or "Looking Glass Self."
